Role Overview: We are seeking a Site Supervisor to join our esteemed Energy team, focusing on a significant project. The Site Supervisor will oversee elements of a small to medium-sized project or multiple smaller projects, with a value ranging from £1M to £30M.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, review, and execute short and medium-term contract programs.
- Regularly monitor project progress against established plans and manage expenditure for labor, plant, and materials.
- Address operational issues, escalating critical matters to the Project Manager as necessary.
- Supervise Section Managers and other workflow supervisors/contractors.
- Provide clients with periodic updates on project and contract progress.
- Ensure comprehensive risk assessments are conducted and maintained.
- Review and allocate resources, including plant, labor, and materials, for the short to medium term (1-3 months).
- Foster strong working relationships with the Murphy team and ensure effective client/subcontractor engagement for the safe and timely completion of site activities.
Qualifications:
- HNC in Building Studies or a degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management.
- Proven experience in delivering Civil Engineering/Construction projects.
- Familiarity with National Grid SR163 is advantageous, though training can be provided.
- Extensive background in site and contract management for projects of similar value.
