We are in search of a qualified professional to take on the role of Sustainability and ESG Program Manager. This position is crucial for the development of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives and for enhancing our consultancy services to clients.

Role Responsibilities:

As the Sustainability and ESG Program Manager, you will spearhead the formulation and management of our ESG offerings for clients, ensuring the implementation of industry best practices. Your duties will encompass the establishment of ESG frameworks for clients utilizing our platform and within ProcureCircular. Collaboration with various teams will be essential to integrate ESG and sustainability principles throughout the organization. This role will report directly to senior management and requires a deep understanding of ESG frameworks and industry standards.

Key Duties:

  • ESG Strategy Formulation: Lead the creation of comprehensive ESG strategies that align with current market trends.
  • Metrics Development: Design and implement ESG metrics within our software platform.
  • Client Engagement: Execute sustainability initiatives for clients and assess their ESG-related activities.
  • Performance Reporting: Monitor and report on progress against established ESG targets and key performance indicators.
  • Profile Management: Oversee ProcureCircular's ESG and sustainability profile.

Stakeholder Relations:

  • Build and maintain relationships to promote sustainability initiatives.
  • Communicate ESG efforts transparently to all stakeholders.
  • Represent ProcureCircular as a thought leader at industry events.

Data Management:

  • Develop systems for the analysis of ESG data.

Risk Management:

  • Conduct assessments to identify and mitigate ESG-related risks.
  • Stay informed about emerging ESG trends and standards.

Collaboration and Training:

  • Incorporate sustainability into organizational decision-making.
  • Facilitate training sessions to engage employees in sustainability objectives.

Compliance and Certification:

  • Ensure adherence to ESG regulations.
  • Pursue relevant sustainability certifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline; an MBA is preferred.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in ESG and sustainability roles, ideally within the Circular Economy sector.
  • Proficiency in ESG frameworks and sustainability best practices.
  • Understanding of social and environmental governance.
  • Experience in strategies for measuring and reducing emissions.
  • Strong skills in project management, communication, and data analysis.
