We are seeking an experienced Information Security Risk Manager to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As a key member of our IT Risk & Security team, you will play a critical role in managing and reporting Information Security Risks faced by our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of Data: Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data residing on our systems and services.
- Coordinate IT Audits and Due Diligence Exercises: Coordinate and respond to activities affiliated with external/internal IT audits as well as due diligence exercises requested by our external business partners.
- Support Security Penetration Testing: Arrange and support security penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen our security posture.
- Monitor External Information Sources: Monitor external information sources to make recommendations on latest security threats and vulnerabilities that affect our technical estate.
- Assess and Recommend Security Measures: Assess, plan, and coordinate patch management activities for internal systems and hardware, and recommend server hardening activities to be completed by the Infrastructure and Service Delivery teams.
- Support Email and Web Gateways: Support the administration of email and web gateways to ensure secure communication and data exchange.
- Advise on Projects and Change Initiatives: Support and advise on projects and change initiatives to ensure Information Security is consistently considered and improved.
- Strong Understanding of Information Security Risk Management: Strong understanding and knowledge of Information Security risk management tools and techniques.
- Experience in Information Security: Experience working within recognised Information Security frameworks and best practices such as ISO27001, NIST etc.
- Business Acumen: Ability to challenge approach, strategy, and implementation to ensure Information Security is consistently considered and improved.
- Communication Skills: Structured, self-starting, flexible, and enjoy working in fast-paced environments.
