Information Security Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Manager to join our team at 6point6. As a key member of our cyber practice, you will be responsible for providing assurance expertise to our clients, including UK Central Government and blue chip corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze cyber security risks and provide advice to risk owners.
- Develop and implement cyber security policies and procedures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance on meeting security-related statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Assess security control designs and configurations for effectiveness in risk management.
- Develop trusted relationships with security stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain security processes and procedures.
- Manage the delivery of security assurance services for projects.
Requirements:
- Excellent working knowledge of the security risk management life cycle, including assurance methods in Agile delivery.
- Excellent knowledge of various security technologies, including cryptography, host intrusion, network and application firewalls.
- Experience of cyber security policies and processes.
- Experience of security awareness campaigns.
- Experience with threat and vulnerability management systems.
- Experience with security information and event management systems.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with major Cloud technologies and experience of at least one major PaaS provider.
- A natural collaborator with a genuine desire to help your team achieve a common goal.
- Knowledgeable about industry standards and good practice for information security risk, including ISO standards.
- An understanding of designing security management systems.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Guide clients on the application and operation of security controls.
- Explain complex information security concepts to business stakeholders.
- Identify information security risks within a solution and provide appropriate countermeasures or alternatives to mitigate the risks.
- Contribute to planning and execution of risk-based audits.
- Support threat modeling.
- Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
- Exemplary consultancy skills and stakeholder management experience.
Certifications:
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
- Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP).
- Certified in RISK and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
- Advanced Cloud Security (ISC2 Cloud Certified Security Professional).
- General Data Protection Regulation.
