About the Role

The Technical Solutions Expert will be responsible for driving change for our customers through IT strategy, roadmaps, and projects. This individual will work closely with the Head of Technology to scope, design, and deliver solutions for customers aligned with their business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to design high-level infrastructure solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Work with the Lead Technical Architect to align customers with Wavex's technology stack and ensure seamless integration.
  • Engage with senior executives from our clients to define business challenges and establish technical roadmaps and solutions.
  • Deliver technical presentations to executive-level stakeholders, effectively communicating complex technical concepts in business terms.
  • Design and deliver high-level solutions, including pricing within the Wavex pricing framework.
  • Facilitate workshops to establish client business requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Write technical Statements of Work (SoWs), proposals, and RFP responses that meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and provide technical guidance where necessary.

Project Delivery

  • Own the technical delivery and implementation of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.
  • Perform low-level design and work with Project Managers to deliver projects on time and within defined budget.
  • Liaise with clients to discuss project solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Complete technical audits and write audit reports, network manuals, diagrams, and other relevant documentation.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and ensure seamless integration with Wavex's technology stack.
  • Be prepared to work out-of-hours on critical projects and ensure timely delivery.
  • Aide in the formulation of standardized project plans and best practice guides to ensure quality of all projects.
  • Monitor project cost and planned delivery timeframes, ensuring accurate time recording and task management.
  • Work with the Procurement team to advise on technical equipment requirements and pricing strategies.
  • Represent Wavex as an ambassador, promoting and maintaining the company's reputation at the highest level.

Professional Experience

The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering and designing cloud infrastructure projects, particularly around Microsoft 365 security aspects. They should have strong technical experience with Microsoft EUC product ranges, including Intune/Endpoint Manager (MDM, Windows Autopilot).

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and modern desktop management.
  • Experience in Microsoft collaboration and enhanced communication.
  • Pre-sales experience, including writing SoWs, estimating professional services, and delivering compelling presentations at executive level.
  • Experience of solution costing, including technology products and licensing approaches.
  • Working knowledge of the various M365 License tiers and associated features.
