Field Service Technician
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Salary: £49,580
Schedule: Double Days (Monday to Friday) (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm)

We are seeking a versatile Field Service Technician to join our expansive manufacturing facility in Banbury. Our current team of over 20 skilled technicians possesses a wealth of expertise, and we are looking to enhance this team due to internal promotions.
As a leader in our sector with over 200 years of experience, we operate in a highly stable industry with multiple locations across Europe. We are committed to investing in your professional growth through both external and in-house training programs covering a diverse array of our machinery.
Key Responsibilities

  • Performing repairs and maintenance on various equipment including fillers, gearboxes, packers, shafts, and conveyors.
  • Engaging in mechanical troubleshooting while gaining exposure to PLC diagnostics and modifications across a variety of PLC systems such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Allen Bradley.

Qualifications

  • A well-rounded skill set as a Field Service Technician, with proficiency in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Experience in PLC diagnostics is highly desirable, and the ability to make modifications is advantageous but not essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a multi-skilled technician role within an industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with FMCG/Packaging lines is beneficial but not a strict requirement.
