Field Service Engineer Role

Bowdon Associates Limited is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team in Banbury. The successful candidate will work in field service and installation nationally, providing in-house and on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Installation and commissioning of new commercial laundry machinery
  2. Perform routine, planned maintenance on all customer equipment
  3. Pro-actively work with the team to report known issues / faults and ensure they are effectively dealt with and closed out
  4. Perform breakdown repairs on customer machines
  5. Order spare parts and maintain stock locations
  6. Work with customers to prioritise workloads and maximise production
Requirements:
  1. Experience working on commercial manufactured equipment or FMCG
  2. Engineering qualification - NVQ level
  3. Able to maintain high-volume production lines to ensure productivity is maximised
  4. Electrical testing and logical fault-finding processes
  5. Good problem solving and diagnostic skills
  6. Laundry experience desirable
  7. Able to work in high-pressure environments
Benefits:
  1. Starting salary £35,000 rising to £37,500 after probation (6 months)
  2. 20 - 30% additional pay with overtime
  3. Overtime 1.5 x after 40 hours, double time Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays
  4. 25 days holiday + Bank hols
