Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a key member of our structural team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for commercial, domestic, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed design calculations to up-to-date Eurocodes
  • Manage the delivery of design for a portfolio of projects and assets
  • Co-ordinate the detailed design drawings and prepare specifications for tender and construction purposes
  • Assist with the delivery of high-quality solutions across a variety of sectors for clients and project stakeholders
  • Collaborate with design teams both within ARD and externally to deliver structural design solutions to agreed timescales and budgets

Requirements:

  • Progression towards MIStructE/MICE Chartered membership
  • Excellent communication skills, in both written and spoken English
  • Hold a current UK driving licence
  • Structural design experience in core materials; Concrete, Steel, Masonry, and Timber
  • A high level of competence with AutoCAD, with experience of Revit being advantageous
