Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Order Coordinator to join our team at KP Snacks. As an Order Coordinator, you will be responsible for receiving and processing orders, managing orders, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize KP's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to accurately manage order administration processes and release to warehousing and transport functions within agreed daily timelines.
- Implement Sales and Operation Execution (S&OE) team business decisions and priorities within the order management process.
- Maintain effective communication with our logistics partner's operational contacts to ensure customer order processing does not adversely impact delivery performance.
- Maintain good communication with KP factories to ensure finished goods inventory is available when required for order processing.
- Identify and report root cause issues in the order management process, propose relevant solutions, and manage improvement actions to provide excellent customer service.
- Deliver continuing standardization, efficiency, accuracy, and automation across the order management process and with customers.
- Monitor and achieve order efficiency volumes, frequency, and targets.
- Process new product development, pack changes, seasonal activities, shippers, aged stock clearance, product uplifts, and customer-specific activities effectively and accurately.
- Provide new recruit training and escalate process and system enhancement needs to the line manager or KP IT team.
- Make day-to-day order management adjustment decisions in line with S&OE guidance and priorities.
- Maintain ongoing levels of system and process training for yourself and colleagues.
- Lead a small team of administrators.
Working Hours
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with 45 minutes for lunch. We offer flexibility in terms of start and finish times, and weekends and Bank Holidays are worked on a rota basis across the team with limited hours. Time off in lieu is offered for hours worked.

Key Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Line management experience
- Previous experience of using a system for receiving and processing orders, preferably KP's ERP system or similar
- Experience of dealing with customers
- The ability to improve manual to automated processes
- Experience of working in a high-pressure, busy environment and the ability to work on your own initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong positive attitude, self-confident, and resilient
- Self-aware and a positive contributor to a team dynamic
- Excellent PC skills on all Microsoft packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
