About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Older Persons Therapy Team at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, manage, and treat elderly patients with complex needs, utilizing advanced clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating goal-setting and outcome measurement.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects, enhancing the delivery of physiotherapy services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, from emergency admission to community outreach.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience working as a Physiotherapist, covering core rotations and demonstrating expertise in frailty and rehabilitation.
  • HCPC Registration and BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree.
  • Experience working on an on-call respiratory rota and willingness to participate in 7-day working on a rota basis.
  • Ability to drive, hold a clean driver's license, and have access to a car for work purposes.
