Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Gi Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the intake of packaging materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Management: Unload vehicles, receive and put away packaging materials into racking, and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy.
- Pick and Pack: Select and retrieve packaging materials required for production, and return leftover packaging to stock.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock counts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Transportation: Drive a van between the warehouse and factory to deliver packaging stocks.
- Team Support: Assist other warehouse functions as needed to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT Licenses: Possess valid and in-date Reach and Counterbalance FLT licenses.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate great attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
