Senior Estimator Job Description

The Resolute Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join their team in the Midlands, Northampton region. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for carrying out take-offs, bills of quantities, cost plans, and tenders for a range of clients, including sub-contractors, developers, and private clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing tenders on behalf of clients based on architectural, structural engineer, and specialist drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Establishing connections with various individuals across the tendering process, including suppliers, subcontractors, and specialists, to facilitate collaboration.
  • Performing accurate take-offs for various residential and commercial projects, utilizing measuring take-off tools and software for precision.
  • Supporting the estimating and managing director as required.
  • Discussing and establishing potential value engineering regarding projects to aid clients in meeting budgets.

Requirements:

  • Previous industry experience working within the building industry (e.g., residential, commercial, building merchant, etc.).
  • Holding relevant experience amounting to a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Deadline-driven, highly organized, and proficient with industry trends and regulations.
  • Effectively managing multiple projects.
