Credit Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Assistant – Credit Controller to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance operations, you will be responsible for administering the sales ledger, ensuring timely collection of debts, and assisting with general accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Contact customers to request or chase payment and resolve any invoice queries in collaboration with the relevant departments.
- Raise credit notes and review order requests as needed.
- Open new customer accounts and perform credit checks.
- Issue and manage manual/service invoices and debt collection procedures.
- Allocate payments received to maintain ledger accounts.
- Handle data entry, manage petty cash, and perform credit card and fuel card reconciliations.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, post cashbook entries, and handle Intrastat reporting.
- Significant experience in a financial environment, particularly in a sales ledger role.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at debt collecting and query resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good commercial acumen.
- Self-disciplined, efficient, proactive, and confident in nature.
- Performance Related Bonus - Annual.
