About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Operative to join our team at Hammersmith & Fulham London Borough council. As a key member of our local team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent service and support to our residents through a range of general repairs and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, plastering, decorating, and tiling.
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve high standards of work and service.
  • Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with residents.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Working from a planned route, visiting properties and completing tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a trade-related role, with a strong background in plumbing, carpentry, plastering, decorating, and tiling.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Trade qualifications or on-the-job experience.
