We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Accounts Portfolio Manager at Trial Balance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, identifying business opportunities, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Portfolio Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and personal tax clients.
  • Business Development: Identify and manage planning opportunities to drive business growth and provide general business support to clients.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent client service.
  • Client Communication: Liaise with clients face-to-face and over the phone to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • HMRC and Compliance: Deal with HMRC correspondence and enquiries, and ensure all HMRC and Companies House filing deadlines are met.
  • Strategic Growth: Work closely with partners to develop the growth strategy for the practice and advise clients on cloud accounting options to support their business growth.
  • Workflow Management: Manage workflow to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services to clients.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualifications are highly regarded, and study support can be offered to active studiers where appropriate.
  • Experience: A strong recent background in accountancy practice is essential for this role.
