Join Our Team as a Trainee Technical Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Certification Compliance team at SOCOTEC UK Limited. As a Trainee Technical Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the ongoing maintenance and improvement of our UKAS accreditation and Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update SCUK system documentation in line with accreditation requirements and deadlines.
  • Act as Document Controller, ensuring the maintenance of the document register, issuance of document revisions to overseas offices, and coordination of acknowledgements.
  • Support the Compliance Manager in resolving internal and external non-conformities, customer complaints, and appeals.
  • Contribute to the internal audit programme, including assigning findings to responsible personnel and local offices.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of audit and certification of management systems (ISO).
  • Self-starter with project management capabilities and experience working to deadlines.
  • At least three years of experience in the third-party certification industry, preferably with a certification body.
  • Successful completion of a lead auditor course.
