Role Overview:

An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Assistant Culinary Manager to join our Regional Catering Team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional culinary experiences across a variety of events.

As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with the Head Chef to provide outstanding culinary services during events, ensuring a high standard of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement innovative culinary offerings across various dining options.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s Food Safety Management System in all areas of responsibility.
  • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen staff schedules to meet operational cost targets.
  • Take responsibility for food safety standards, including accurate allergen information and staff training.
  • Support the achievement of financial objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Food Preparation or equivalent qualification
  • Food Safety Certification or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar culinary role
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledgeable about food and beverage services
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure
  • Proactive and able to work independently
