Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Wabtec Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling the maintenance and utilities of our Doncaster site, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and equipment uptime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and control maintenance and utilities of the Doncaster site.
  • Effective control of manpower allocated overheads, and materials to achieve projects and necessary PPM.
  • Actively involved in leading and promoting continuous improvement activities to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Management of team and contract staff.
  • Lead daily briefings to instruct staff to meet production targets.
  • Drive Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental improvements to comply with relevant legislation.
  • Provide call-out service by telephone and arrange appropriate staff/contractors to attend the site.
Requirements
  • Ideally you will have proven experience in building systems, maintenance, and facilities management within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with tendering and implementing projects.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience in budget management.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • IOSH - (Desirable).
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Competent MS applications.
