Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at VINCI Facilities. As a key member of our Education Team, you will be responsible for overseeing a School PFI contract in Doncaster and Sheffield.

About the Role

This contract involves delivering a Total Facilities Management (TFM) solution across six schools in the area. Your primary objective will be to ensure the successful management of the contract, maximizing returns in terms of profit and service level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Ensure all supporting functions sustain operational management to maximize returns in terms of profit and service level.
  • Cost Management: Identify, manage, and reduce all unnecessary costs and inefficient activities – ensure business risks are clearly identified and controlled.
  • Team Leadership: Provide direction, focus, and consistency across the contract.
  • Client Management: Work closely with the client to ensure their needs are met.
  • Performance Management: Manage the performance of delivery teams.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial aspects of the contract, including reviewing project schedules and budgets.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that robust on-site procedures are established and employed, and undertake daily checks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement, overcome problems, and mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • Contract Management Experience: Proven experience in contract management within facilities management.
  • TFM Understanding: Understanding of the delivery of Total Facilities Management.
  • PFI Experience: Experience working with PFI contracts is desirable.
  • Staff Management: Ability to manage and lead teams.
  • IOSH Certification: Hold IOSH certification.
