About the Role

The Test Engineer is a key member of our team at INEOS Automotive, responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products. As a Test Engineer, you will be working closely with our development team to plan, test, and implement software changes, ensuring that our products meet the desired quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure that our software products meet the required quality standards.
  • Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, log, and track defects, and provide reporting on defect tracking and escalation.
  • Test Automation: Develop and run test scripts to automate manual repeatable tasks, and analyze and report testing results.
  • Test Process Improvement: Continuously improve the test process, developing and maintaining testing standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the development team, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in IT environments, with a focus on software testing, quality assurance, and automation.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, with a high attention to detail, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Certifications: Certified in ISEB or ISTQB, Tricentis Tosca, or similar.
