About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage and Protection Specialist to join our successful Rettie Financial Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, delivering whole of market mortgage and protection advice, and contributing to our ongoing growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Deliver exceptional service to clients, adhering to agreed mortgage and protection services sales processes.
  • Business Development: Meet and exceed personal targets, contribute to team targets, and actively promote and build the business through prospecting and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge: Undertake sufficient product and market research to make suitable recommendations to clients and offer a great client experience.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients, reporting and following up on all financial sales opportunities.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and deal with any issues raised by clients to ensure an exceptional service experience.
  • Database Management: Trained to expert standard on sales database (CRM) and proactively use the database functionality by recording accurate and detailed customer information.
  • Customer Reviews: Generate positive customer reviews.
  • Compliance: Understand regulatory compliance requirements and ensure all required documentation is received and processed to meet regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: CMAP Qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience: Whole of market mortgage and protection experience.
  • Knowledge: Detailed knowledge and understanding of compliance procedures, including record keeping requirements.
  • Skills: Proven ability to deliver exceptional standards of customer service, deliver financial targets and KPIs, and proficient in the use of IT systems.
