Process Improvement Specialist

Location: Multimatic Inc.

Scope of Position :

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of standardized continuous improvement methodologies across the organization, aligning with corporate objectives while promoting key performance indicators related to process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with senior management to establish clear objectives, targets, and milestones.
  • Oversee the strategic deployment, planning, and execution of improvement initiatives.
  • Educate cross-departmental teams on essential continuous improvement principles, tools, and techniques.
  • Provide support and guidance to both administrative and operational teams through coaching and mentoring.
  • Engage all personnel in the manufacturing improvement system by utilizing Lean methodologies and process enhancement strategies in conjunction with global leadership.
  • Monitor implementation efforts, identifying process discrepancies and obstacles, and work with teams to propose alternative solutions.
  • Facilitate and promote process evaluations and identify areas for improvement, reporting findings to management.
  • Maintain a commitment to safety in all activities.
  • Conduct internal audits of continuous improvement practices.
  • Supervise ongoing continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure that minimum training standards for continuous improvement are met, including onboarding for new hires.
  • Share best practices across the organization.
  • Report on key performance indicators related to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Embrace and implement Lean Manufacturing principles and concepts.
  • Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence activities.
  • Manage training processes, ensuring teams are well-versed in Lean principles.
  • Collaborate with management on the approval of new layouts and critical organizational changes.
  • Oversee the utilization of continuous improvement tools and programs.
  • Adhere to all relevant procedures as outlined in the organizational manual.
  • Follow departmental procedures and process maps relevant to this role.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards.

Basic Requirements :

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, or Program Management.
  • Familiarity with World Class Manufacturing strategies and tools is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Project, Excel, and Word.
  • Knowledge of industry standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams in a global setting.
  • Willingness to participate in global improvement events.
  • Proficient in English with excellent communication abilities.
