Job Description

Cargo Account Handler / Broker Support

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cargo Account Handler to join our client's successful team. As a key member of the Marine Cargo Division, you will work closely with Brokers to assist with the placement of complex Marine Cargo Risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Brokers to assist with the placement of risks and develop new business opportunities
  • Produce timely and accurate Marine Risk Certificates (MRC) slips and endorsements
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and markets through day-to-day interaction
  • Assist with the development of new business and the existing portfolio of clients
  • Identify renewals with Brokers and send invitations to clients with renewal presentations
  • Negotiate and liaise with Underwriters to secure optimal insurance solutions

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience working for a Lloyd's Broker in a technical position
  • Proven experience in Marine Cargo insurance and/or reinsurance
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
