Job Title: Aldi Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to lead our commercial efforts towards the Global Aldi Group. As the senior point of contact for McBride, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Aldi's procurement team and driving business growth through strategic account planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a multi-year strategic business plan to drive revenue and margin growth for McBride with Aldi.
  • Build and maintain a network of contacts within the Aldi group, including senior management and procurement teams.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to negotiate contracts and agreements with Aldi, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of business plans and initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track revenue, margin, and operational excellence.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of business-to-business commercial work experience at senior level, with a proven track record of driving business growth and developing strong customer relationships.
  • Experience in managing large customer accounts with strong growth records and successful team leadership experiences.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG and retail markets, with a broad skills-set covering financial management, contract formulation, logistics, and supply chain process understanding.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with a high level of emotional intelligence and intellectual flexibility.
