We offer a range of employment options, including full-time and part-time day shifts, as well as a rewarding waking nights role. Waking night roles are part-time, encompassing 28.5 hours per week.

Enhancement for Night Shifts:

  • A £1.00 per hour enhancement applies to waking night shifts from 8pm to 7am, Monday through Thursday (excluding sleep-ins).
  • Weekend enhancements of £1.00 per hour are provided for waking night shifts from 8pm Friday to 7am Monday (excluding sleep-ins).

Our Mission:

At Leonard Cheshire, we empower individuals with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives independently within their own homes. We champion a Person-Centred approach, prioritizing the unique aspirations and goals of each individual we support.

Your Role as a Support Worker:

  • Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, medication administration, and mealtimes.
  • Accompany and assist individuals during outings, appointments, and community events.
  • Foster independence and self-determination by actively supporting our Person-Centred approach.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to ensure comprehensive documentation of care provided.

Experience:

Prior experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or in a similar role is desirable but not essential. We offer comprehensive training and induction programs to equip all new team members with the necessary skills and knowledge.
