Deputy Manager Clinical Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Manager Clinical. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and deputise for the Home Manager in the delivery of clinical and pastoral care.
  • Provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care, ensuring that residents receive the best possible care and support.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure that clinical governance standards are met.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of respect, dignity, and compassion for all residents and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with a strong background in care planning and clinical assessment.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of working in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a high degree of initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on resident-centered care.
