About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automation systems.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Conduct electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  2. Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on TGW and third-party products to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with the automation team to optimize system performance and ensure customer orders are not missed.
  4. Attend customer meetings to provide updates on automation performance and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Develop and implement continuous improvement activities to increase the reliability of TGW and third-party assets.
  6. Investigate and resolve breakdowns on TGW-supplied equipment and software to minimize downtime.
  7. Coordinate planned preventive maintenance activities with customers to ensure seamless operations.
  8. Mentor and train colleagues on engineering best practices to enhance team capabilities.
  9. Ensure compliance with all current and future health and safety legislation.
About You
  1. You will have a minimum NVQ level 3/BTEC ONC/HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Previous experience in an operational engineering role with automation equipment is essential.
  3. You will possess excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  4. You will be able to work effectively in a time-critical environment.
  5. You will have a proven ability to solve problems and think critically.
  6. Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems is desirable.
