Job Title: Global Outsourced Payroll Team Leader

As a key member of the Global People Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Global Payroll Processing Team, ensuring the day-to-day administration of multiple small to medium-sized non-UK payrolls outsourced in various locations globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage payroll production, data gathering, validation, and transfer to providers, ensuring the accuracy of the company's payrolls.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external partners, requiring a highly professional individual with a keen eye for detail.
  • Work with teams across the organisation, such as People Services, Reward, Tax, and Finance, to ensure accurate and timely processing of payrolls.
  • Oversee effective and efficient processes to ensure all relevant employee data is compiled and validated before transferring to outsourced payroll partners each period.
  • Review and first-line sign-off of payroll outputs from providers and support query handling.
  • Provide excellent customer service for colleagues and business partners, responding to emails and complex payroll cases within SLAs.
  • Work with Finance and Treasury teams to ensure required funds are transferred to providers on the agreed schedule.
  • Support Finance teams with payroll queries as required.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree
  • CIPP or Finance Qualification or working towards qualification
  • Relevant payroll experience
  • Good understanding of UK and/or foreign employment tax legislation, its application, and best practice
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a payroll role covering all aspects of payroll processing
  • Experience of working across multiple payrolls/pay cycles
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines
