Specialist Podiatrist

Solent NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Podiatrist to join our team in Portsmouth and Southampton. As a Specialist Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing expert assessment, treatment, and advice for patients with foot disease affecting the foot and ankle.

• Working with patients with diabetic, rheumatoid, vascular foot disease, or complex pain to maximize improvement through high levels of technical skill and behavior change management.
• Undertaking a range of wound assessment, complex MSK assessments, and management, including debridement, casting techniques, advanced and innovative wound care practice, x-ray, and prescribing/influencing medication relating to disease control.
• Working with teams and individuals to influence the type and quality of care provided across the risk foot and MSK pathway.
• Collaborating with other health professionals to agree care plans to prevent/manage podiatric conditions.

• BSc Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
• Full HCPC registration.
• CPD Portfolio.
• Driving license.
• Member of Professional Body.
• IRMER Qualification.
• Post Graduate training.

• 1 year post-qualification experience.
• Experience in At Risk Foot/offloading/clinical assessment.
• Evidence of working with other professionals.
