About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team at Solent NHS Trust. As an Apprentice Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality foot care services to patients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive wound assessments and develop effective treatment plans to promote healing and prevent further complications.
• Conduct complex MSK assessments and provide management strategies to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to influence care pathways and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines to ensure delivery of best-in-class care.

Requirements

• BSc Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
• Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Postgraduate training in a relevant area, such as wound care or MSK management.
• IRMER qualification and experience in working with other professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
