Gap Technical Ltd is excited to present an opportunity for an Industrial Electrician within a leading Engineering Company specializing in Food Production.
Key Responsibilities
- Engaging in electrical installations within manufacturing environments, focusing on various systems.
- Setting up cable management systems including trays, ladders, baskets, and conduits.
- Executing the installation of power and control wiring, including SWA, SY, CY, and YY types.
- Implementing low voltage distribution and circuit protection solutions, such as distribution boards.
- Establishing lighting circuits effectively.
- Connecting field device cabling from control panels to associated equipment.
Candidate Requirements
- Completion of an Apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 / C&G / JIB Certification.
- Possession of 17th / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification is advantageous.
- IPAF certification is a plus.
- Willingness to work 40+ hours per week with potential for overtime.
- Experience in Industrial or Food Production settings is highly valued.
