Job Title: Central Planner

Baltic Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Central Planner to join their team. As a Central Planner, you will play a crucial role in delivering a range of duties in support of the central planning function.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement efficient vehicle routing strategies to optimize transportation operations.
  2. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment policies and procedures.
  3. Schedule vehicles for allocated sites/regions, ensuring timely and effective delivery of goods.
  4. Manage driver holidays and absences, ensuring adequate coverage for all sites/regions.
  5. Coordinate driver briefings and de-briefings with regional traffic operators.
  6. Ensure drivers receive necessary training and are available for all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  7. Manage depot fuel stock levels, ensuring adequate supply for all operations.
  8. Produce and provide relevant reporting to support planning objectives.
  9. Collaborate with the Transport Director to ensure all planning objectives are met and exceeded.
Requirements:
  1. Strong planning and analytical skills.
  2. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  3. Proficient in IT systems and software.
  4. Ability to motivate and engage the team in best practice and compliance.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and issues.
  6. Ability to analyze data to provide effective management reporting.
  7. Comprehensive understanding of regulatory, law, and compliance legislation.
Desirable Qualifications:
  1. Level 3 supervisory Management (ILM or CMI).
  2. Previous experience in a planning environment for a liquid fuel distributor.
