Position Overview

Role: Warranty Hub Administrator

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Working Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm

Salary Range: £24,000 - £32,000 based on experience

At Lookers, we are excited to offer a remarkable opportunity for a Warranty Hub Administrator to become an integral part of our expanding team. This role involves the meticulous processing of warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer standards. You will be responsible for ensuring the precise submission of warranty and goodwill claims on a daily basis, as well as monitoring warranty reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Our Warranty Hub Administrators play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the department, managing the warranty process from initiation to completion with attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring we deliver exceptional service quality.

  • Review completed warranty repair orders for accuracy
  • Prepare claim documentation and supporting materials
  • Maximize returns from the manufacturer for all warranty-related work, including the issuance of credit notes and relevant paperwork
  • Collaborate with the line manager to assess warranty reporting systems and identify potential improvements while administering warranty policies in alignment with the interests of Lookers, the manufacturer, and our customers
  • Process manufacturer warranty payments, manage the return of warranty parts, and reconcile warranty schedules
  • Maintain accurate records of warranty submissions, credits, rejections, and customer contributions towards goodwill claims

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to cultivate and nurture relationships with customers, colleagues, and manufacturers. You should be self-driven, approachable yet professional, ambitious, and capable of thriving under pressure to meet deadlines with precision and care.

Previous experience in a Warranty Administrator role is preferred.
