About the Role

Tencent Cloud is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strategic Sales Executive to join our team in London/Frankfurt/Paris/Munich. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating and handling Tencent Cloud's most significant and strategic digital native accounts in Europe, particularly in the gaming industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize networking and prospecting skills to generate leads and identify strategic solution-based sales opportunities
  • Develop and manage high-value relationships with key stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other team members on large digital native accounts and participate in providing input on sales and marketing collateral
  • Partner with the Legal/FIN/Tax teams on contract negotiations
  • Achieve/exceed sales goals, sustain revenue growth and provide recommendations to enhance account growth and revenue potential
  • Preparation and execution of strategic account plans, status reports, sales and revenue forecasting and quota attainment
  • Be an expert on Tencent's cloud's digital native offerings, working to understand customers' needs and providing service solutions
  • Develop strategic plans based on industry trending and customer analysis
  • Accountable and instrumental in increasing high-profile cloud platform contracts
  • Work closely with the Solutions Engineer team in delivering and ensuring customers are gaining high value from their investments
  • Manage sales life-cycle for all accounts
Requirements
  • 5+ years B2B sales experience in the technology/Internet/digital sector
  • Experience selling at C-level
  • Exhibits a "hunter" mentality and possesses an outstanding ability to close sales
  • Proven record and strong capability to generate leads, pursue opportunities and sell
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with customer and staff at all levels
  • Ability to solve customer-related problems in a positive manner
  • Strong in consultative and insight-based selling
  • Experience articulating complex solutions to decision-makers and executives
  • Proven ability to grow revenue and manage accounts
  • Experience analyzing data, trends and the market to develop key selling points
  • Experience with gaming back-end technology is a plus
  • Experience with media & entertainment technology (streaming, real-time communication, CPaaS) is a plus
