Job Title: Care Assistant

Job Type: Part-time

Hours: 6 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2 hours per day, 3 times a week

Wage: £12.00 per hour

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide flexible support to individuals with autism, including general light duties, household chores, and personal care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Use your own vehicle for escorting service users to appointments and shopping trips.
  • Perform general household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

About the Role:

  • Work independently, using your own initiative to complete tasks and responsibilities.
  • Develop a trusting relationship with service users, providing a kind, friendly, and reliable support service.

Requirements:

  • DBS clearance, undertaken and paid for by the employer.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
