Internship Opportunity in Fashion Photography

Luxe Media, LLC is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Fashion Photographer Intern. As a key member of our studio team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced stylists and photographers to create high-quality images for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the creation of digital product stills for our clients, ensuring that all products are lit correctly and creatively.
  2. Work closely with our stylists to prepare sets, check equipment, and maintain accurate daily shoot records.
  3. Produce high-quality images that meet our clients' expectations, ensuring they are correctly exposed and color consistent.
  4. Accurately archive images for easy access by our team.
  5. Meet daily and weekly deadlines to prepare for new website material.
  6. Responsible for the care and upkeep of all studio equipment, props, and supplies.
  7. When needed, retouch/crop/upload digital images.
  8. Name and maintain digital asset file/structure organization.
  9. Perform quality assurance on all images.
  10. Crop digital photographic images/maintain file size specification guidelines.

Qualifications:

  1. A passion for women's economic opportunities.
  2. Must be a full or part-time student and working toward a degree.
  3. Must be eligible to receive school credit and commit to 2-3 days a week for 3 months.
  4. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously.
  5. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and other groups as necessary both internally and externally.
  6. Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks.
  7. Previous experience in a studio environment.
  8. Proven experience with digital cameras and lighting.
  9. High technical proficiency in PhotoShop, Capture One, and networked computers.
  10. Strong understanding of color correction and image constraints.
  11. Ability to work well with a team.
  12. Detail-oriented and creative.
  13. Integrity, honesty, openness, and a willingness to operate as a team player.
