About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner Trainee. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in children's mental health and wellbeing, working with a dynamic and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guided self-help therapy and parenting interventions to children and young people
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from partner agencies to deliver high-quality services
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of case work, aiming for a minimum of 30 pieces of case work
  • Participate in presentations, reflective analysis, and other assessments to demonstrate your clinical practice
About the Programme

The PgDip CWP training programme is a 12-month course that will equip you with the skills and knowledge to work effectively with children and young people. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and teachers, to develop your understanding of children's mental health and wellbeing.

Requirements
  • A second-class or higher bachelor's degree from a UK university in a relevant subject (psychology, education, childhood development, social work)
  • An overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in a relevant subject
  • Confidence using IT systems and working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • A driving license and use of vehicle for work purposes
