Clinical Neuropsychologist Preceptorship Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist to join our Neuropsychology Department at the renowned Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre. This is a full-time permanent position, offering a structured framework for a Band 7 preceptorship or Band 8a role, depending on experience.
About the RoleAs a Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist, you will play a vital role in our growing and innovative neuropsychology department, working as part of a friendly and supportive team. You will be responsible for providing specialist neuropsychological assessment and intervention for inpatients with neurological conditions, developing and implementing rehabilitation and condition management programmes, and undertaking risk assessment and risk management for individual patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist neuropsychological assessment and intervention for inpatients with neurological conditions
- Develop and implement rehabilitation and condition management programmes
- Undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual patients
- Provide specialist psychological advice and guidance to other health professionals
- Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, formulation, and clinical interventions with patients
- HCPC registration
- Enrolled or interested in post-doctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology
- Experience of clinical practice within a neurological service setting at a pre or post-qualification level
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of patients across the full range of care settings
