Techniche Global Ltd is collaborating with a prominent engineering defense contractor to recruit a Lead Project Scheduler.
Your responsibilities will encompass serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the scheduling domain, offering guidance and oversight to scheduling professionals and project control specialists who directly assist project teams. Your expertise will be crucial in aiding project managers to successfully execute projects while adhering to safety protocols, timelines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.
Compensation:
£44-58k per annum
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid role based in Helensburgh, Clyde
Employment Type:
Permanent, full-time
Working Hours:
37 hours per week
Eligibility:
Must be eligible for SC Clearance (sole UK nationals)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and direction to scheduling professionals and project control specialists in supporting project teams to meet safety, time, cost, and quality standards.
- Lead and influence project teams in the creation and upkeep of project schedules that align with business needs and support the organization's Project Delivery Framework (PDF).
- Conduct probabilistic schedule risk analysis and cost risk analysis to enhance the project/programme bidding process.
- Deliver both long-term and short-term resource forecasts at the programme level to inform the Integrated Base Plan.
- Develop and refine Project Planning templates that are tailored to the corporate structure and synchronized with engineering task steps and work instructions.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience in Planning, ideally with a data-centric approach.
- Familiarity with project controls.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.
- Experience in ensuring quality assurance in planning processes.
