Job Details
We are seeking a visionary school leader to drive improvement and excellence in education. As a Headteacher in Fife, you will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the school, implementing policies, and contributing to the development of a self-improving system.

Qualification, Registration, and Skill Requirements
You must possess high levels of interpersonal skills and abilities to lead and manage the school community. A commitment to ongoing professional learning is also essential, with a focus on demonstrating the impact on your practice.
Full General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) registration is required, with specific requirements for Primary and Secondary sectors. You must also model the expected behaviour of a teacher in Scotland, in line with the relevant Professional Standards.
Candidates holding GTCS registration in Further Education must also hold Primary or Secondary registration to meet the essential criteria. As of 1 August 2020, all successful candidates appointed to a permanent Headteacher role in Scotland are required to hold the Standard for Headship.
Before Confirmation
You will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
