The Commercial Informatics Unit is a dynamic team of developers and data scientists driving innovation in data analytics and visualization within the NHS. Our team's principles foster creativity, enabling us to stay at the forefront of development and delivery.

We're seeking a skilled developer to lead in creating interactive and intuitive applications using modern cloud microservices architecture and open-source frameworks. You will participate in designing and creating scalable applications and services, applying your skills in writing clean, functional code.

Key skills for this role include:

  1. Experience with modern technology stacks
  2. Developing web applications with JavaScript and CSS
  3. Relational databases and API development
  4. Testing and fixing bugs or coding issues
  5. Microservices architecture and Git version control
  6. .Net (C#) and SQL Server experience
  7. Creating standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Desirable skills for the development of this role:

  1. CSS and SASS
  2. Experience with Bootstrap
  3. Writing unit tests and presenting methods and outcomes
  4. VB.Net experience

This role may involve implementing solutions at other NHS organizations. As a full-stack developer, you'll work on Microservice-based applications using the Microsoft stack.

You will undertake complex information analysis, monitor and track risks, and lead requirement analysis and technical design solutions. You will also apply technical experience and knowledge in evaluating solutions and maintaining technical awareness.
