Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

The Commercial Informatics Unit at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing team of Developers and Data Scientists. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation in data analytics and visualisation within the NHS.

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in cloud native technologies, who can lead in creating interactive and intuitive applications to aid in policy and decision making, as well as direct patient care. You will be responsible for designing and creating scalable applications and services using cloud-native technologies, and applying your skills in writing clean, functional code.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop cloud-native applications using modern technology stacks
  2. Lead in creating interactive and intuitive applications to aid in policy and decision making, as well as direct patient care
  3. Participate in the design and creation of scalable applications and services using cloud-native technologies
  4. Apply your skills in writing clean, functional code
  5. Collaborate with the team to drive innovation in data analytics and visualisation within the NHS

Requirements:

  1. Established developer role using a modern technology stack
  2. Experience of developing web applications with JavaScript and CSS
  3. Experience of Relational Databases
  4. Development of APIs
  5. Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
  6. Developing applications using a microservices architecture
  7. Experience of Git version control system
  8. Experience in.Net (C#)
  9. Creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), which can be referred to by other members of the team
  10. Experience with SQL Server

Desirable Skills:

  1. CSS and SASS
  2. Experience with Bootstrap
  3. Experienced in writing unit tests
  4. Presenting methods and outcomes to stakeholders
  5. Experience with VB.Net
