Role Significance
This position is vital in delivering tailored and pragmatic HR guidance to educational institutions, ensuring alignment with their specific policies and legal obligations. The role also involves supporting senior HR professionals in enhancing our consultancy services tailored to the education sector.
Our team, composed of legal and HR experts, possesses extensive knowledge and experience in education, consistently recognized in leading legal directories. Our primary goal is to assist our education clients in making decisions that are fundamentally beneficial for their students and organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a solution-oriented HR advisory service addressing a wide range of complex employee relations and HR matters.
- Ensure exceptional client service by placing the client at the center of our operations.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, guiding them to successful outcomes.
- Stay informed about sector developments to ensure compliance and relevance in our advice.
- Lead various client projects, encompassing the full spectrum of general HR responsibilities.
- Manage complex casework and provide support via telephone and email.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to HR Advisors as necessary.
- Prepare for pitches and presentations.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for clients.
- Create and update documentation in response to legislative changes.
- Conduct reviews of existing documentation to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Represent the firm at conferences and events, showcasing expertise.
- Write articles and advisory content for both internal and external publications.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, ensuring outstanding service.
- Manage client files effectively, ensuring timely billing and communication regarding outstanding invoices.
- Accurately record all activities in line with the firm's policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Associate CIPD qualification (or equivalent).
- Comprehensive understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
- Experience in business development initiatives.
- Proven track record in managing complex HR casework.
- Experience in negotiating with trade unions is advantageous.
