Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wigan. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of children with special educational needs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have prior experience of working with children with special educational needs, and will be able to provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of each child. You will work closely with the classroom teacher and other support staff to ensure that the child receives the best possible support.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver tailored support plans for children with special educational needs.
  • Work closely with the classroom teacher to ensure that the child receives the best possible support.
  • Liaise with other professionals, such as teachers, TAs, and specialist support staff, to ensure that the child receives comprehensive support.
  • Monitor and track the development of the child, and provide regular feedback to the classroom teacher.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children with special educational needs.
  • Ability to provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
