Senior Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Architect to join our team at CV Library. As a Senior Security Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and developing our firm's M365 environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security, with expertise in Microsoft security services, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Office 365, and Defender for Cloud Apps.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Implement Secure M365 Environment: Develop and enforce policies to ensure the security and reliability of our M365 applications.
  2. Lead Cloud Security Adoption: Drive the adoption and utilization of Microsoft cloud security technologies across the organization.
  3. Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the SME for Microsoft security suite, with a focus on Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Office 365.
Required Skills and Experience:
  1. Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent substantial experience, with certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, MS-500, AZ500, SC-900, and SC-400.
  2. Cloud Security Expertise: Proven experience in leading the secure adoption of Microsoft security services for M365, with extensive expertise in the Microsoft Defender Suite.
  3. Identity and Access Management: Strong background in integrating identity and access management controls within M365.
  4. Event Management and Logging: Experience in architecting and implementing event management and secure logging of M365 services.
  5. Data Security: Familiarity with Microsoft Purview's integrated data security services, including data encryption, classification, and labelling.
  6. Compliance and Governance: Experience with Microsoft Entra ID governance, including the ability to produce executive-level reports on M365 security posture and compliance.
  7. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Superior analytical skills for gathering and analyzing data, formulating objective conclusions, defining problems, and recommending solutions.
  8. Adaptability and Communication: Capability to adapt, integrate, and modify existing programs or vendor-supplied package programs for use with current information systems, with proficiency in spoken and written English.
