About the Role

Hawksworth is seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Security Architect to join our team. As a senior-level position, we require a candidate with significant tenure as a Microsoft Security Architect.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and cloud security, with expertise in Azure, M365 environments, and Microsoft Defender.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, architect, and implement a secure M365 environment for Hawksworth.
  • Lead the adoption and use of Microsoft cloud security technologies within the company.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft security suite, with a focus on Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365.
Requirements
  • Tenure as a Microsoft Security Architect in a blue-chip client.
  • Strong Azure experience.
  • Experience with cloud adoption projects.
  • Computer Science Bachelor's degree.
  • Good demonstrable experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of AWS and/or Google Cloud Platforms.
  • CCSP and CCSK certifications preferred.
  • Experience with CISSP, SSCP, CRISC, or CGEIT would be beneficial.
  • Experience as a MS Azure Cloud Architect or Engineer is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SOAR concepts and toolsets.
  • Authoritative understanding of data communications and information systems hardware, software, and design principles.
  • Working knowledge of encryption technologies.
