About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 3.5T Transporter Driver to join our team at Premex Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of fleet vehicles and customer vehicles across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of hire fleet vehicles for delivery to customers, adhering to relevant procedures and completing all required documents.
  • Ensure that vehicles required for the following day's deliveries are accounted for and prepared.
  • Maintain a well-organized depot parking area, allocating vehicles to designated areas as directed by depot management.
  • Prepare the yard for easy access for collection of vehicles by salvage agents or other Kindertons employees when necessary.
  • Assist depot administrators in dealing with damaged fleet vehicles by photographing them and taking them for estimate and repair.
  • Deliver, collect, or swap vehicles as required by depot management.
  • Work collaboratively with the team, attending meetings and contributing where appropriate.
  • Perform other duties reasonably requested by line manager.
Requirements
  • Held a valid driver's license for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points.
  • Confident in driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
What We Offer
  • A competitive starting salary, including a 30-minute break paid each day.
  • 30 days of annual leave, with Bank Holidays paid at time and a quarter.
  • Overtime paid at time and a half.
