We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Client Director to join our DC team at Legal & General. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing, retaining, and growing a book of DC pension clients, including some of the largest and most complex clients for our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Establish and develop strong relationships with key decision-makers across your strategic client portfolio, understanding their tactical and strategic goals to meet all client objectives.
- Retention Strategy: Take ownership of the retention strategy when a strategic client is identified as 'at risk', working with the DC senior team to take appropriate action to ensure the client is retained and the relationship is further strengthened.
- New Business Development: Proactively identify and progress new business, profitable restructure, and cross-selling opportunities to maximize sales penetration and market share, while ensuring long-term strategic client retention and development.
- Target Setting and Delivery: Participate in setting and delivering growth targets across strategically important portfolios, ensuring the continued success of the division.
- Client Engagement: Support and attend new business opportunities at critical tender, beauty parade, and site visit stages, working with colleagues in DC Sales to share client experience, trends, and views.
- Product and Proposition Development: Lead engagement with other areas (Product, Client Communications, Change, Operations) to ensure strategic clients have an appropriate range of products and services, while balancing the needs of the DC business and other strategically important clients.
- Experience and Knowledge: Proven experience and knowledge of DC product solutions and marketplace, with a strong understanding of investments and administrative/operational matters in relation to DC pension plans.
- Corporate Client Relationship Management: Corporate client relationship management experience in a product provider, asset manager, or EBC/significant intermediary, with demonstrable communication/presentation skills.
- Professional Qualifications: Professional qualifications in relation to the role, such as PMI, Certificate in Financial Planning, or IMC, are desirable.
- Client Focus: Ability to listen to client issues, understand their challenges, and leverage L&G DC to address/resolve these issues.
