About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer to join our team at CV Library in a brilliant Marine Department. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of civil engineering works within the marine environment, working alongside a team of skilled engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and assessment of marine structures
  • Communicate professionally with colleagues, clients, contractors, and other designers, providing advice and guidance on engineering matters
  • Ensure technical output is consistent and maintains high quality
  • Understand construction contracts and terms of appointment, and liaise with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities
  • Develop skills in technical analysis, design software, and AutoCAD
  • Attend design meetings, site meetings, and carry out site inspections
  • Manage projects within agreed budgetary limits and timescales
  • Prepare and issue technical project information, including calculations and drawings

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in marine or civil engineering
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Full clean driving license
  • Developing proficiency in relevant technical analysis and design software
