Structural Analysis Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team in Newcastle Upon Tyne. As a key member of our Marine Department, you will contribute to a diverse portfolio of civil engineering works within the marine environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and assess marine structures to ensure safety and efficiency.
  2. Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and contractors to provide expert advice on engineering matters.
  3. Develop and maintain high-quality technical output, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  4. Understand and interpret construction contracts and terms of appointment.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest technical analysis and design software, including AutoCAD.
  6. Participate in design meetings, site inspections, and project management activities.
  7. Manage projects within budgetary limits and timescales, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience in marine or civil engineering.
  2. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  3. Full clean driving license.
  4. Developing proficiency in relevant technical analysis and design software.
